I am a young professional interior designer based in Milan, passionate of arts, design, architecture and history. I have been developing my career in the last three years working in the fields of Interior Design, Styling and Visual Merchandising. I have a keen eye for details, able to handle pressure and deadlines, enjoy managing and motivating teams; always open to new ways of working.
My career as interior designer began in 2012 when I started working for SIGMA Architects in London where I had the chance to learn how the craft works from the inside.
There I have proved my skills working on teams, collaborating in projects from the concept to the executive; research, mood board and sketches, FF&E, technical and detailed plans.
Most recently, from last September 2014 until the present, I have been working for Matteo Nunziati Studio, where I can say I enjoyed most my career until now thanks to the wide range of different projects. I have been working in their headquaters based in Milan, specialized in top Interior Design and Product projects, mostly in Italy, Middle East, India and United States.
I have been developing and managing projects from the concept to the executive design; dealing with clients, deadlines, suppliers and construction site. Hopsitality projects like Trump National Doral in Miami or exhibition projects like FAB Architectural Burearu for Graniti Fiandre Group in the Milan Design Week 2015, were just a couple of projects where I have been involved from the beginning until the end. Furthermore I have collaborated on the development of some product design pieces that became catalogue products of some of the most exclusive Italian Design firms like Molteni&Co (with the low table Trevi) or Coro (with the deck chair Boomy).
Regarding to my studies I have graduated last year 2014 in a Master of Interior and Living Design in Domus Academy here in Milan. Runned by Francesca Vargiu and Patricia Urquiola as our mentor. The knowledge I acquired there is thanks to a great teamwork within we learned and grown as professionals. Deep research, attention to every single detail and most important, the develop of our visual presentation and communication skills.
As I believe, multi-tasking is very important nowadays, challenging yourself and being open to new ways of work.
Before dedicating my life to interior design, I was working in retail for almost four years in cities like London and Madrid, for the companies Zara Home and Abercrombie&Fitch, combining it with my university studies. Working in retail opened me to different ways of work as learn how to deal and treat different types of clients. I am highlighting this as a manifest of intentions because I consider that every step of my life will give me a knowledge.
Aside from the skills and qualification I described above, there are many others listed on my resume that I think could be interesting. In the meantime, thank you for any time and effort you take in reviewing my application.
