Primarily my artistic work throughout my higher education was concentrated on political photomontage, using very large-scale media and an extensive purposefully mixed form of traditional
analogue photography and complicated digital imaging. Text has always been inherent in my work
and I have developed individual visual tools within my work for the placement and use of writing and
quotes within an image. Since graduating from university the commercial work that I have created runs along the same lines, albeit not directly politically, and is mainly based in the music industry field. For recent examples of work visit www.mikelockyer.com
