I create design and graphic content like illustrations, logos, infographics etc.
In my art work I use mixed and experimental techniques.
I made drawings for interior design in cooperation with some architectural studies in the Tuscan territory.
BIO: Martina Volandri, Italian artist from Livorno born in 1988. Graduated in Industrial Design at the University of Florence, Faculty of Architecture - Italy.
I have been working as graphic and artist for years, using mixed techniques, especially watercolor and acrylic and experimental techniques.
I have carried out my artistic and professional research by working directly in the field, participa-ting in personal and group exhibitions, festivals and events over the years, both in Italy and abroad.
Since 2015 I have attended art courses at the Trossi Uberti Foundation based in Livorno and anatomical drawing courses at the Il Bisonte foundation in Florence.
2017- Current - Experimented the performative art of Fumage (a particular and scenographic technique made with candle's smoke imprinted on canvas).
2017 - collective exhibition "Artworks Connections", an event included in the XIII AMACI Day (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums) at Galleria Rosso Cinabro, Via Raffaele Cadorna, 28, (Rome).
From 2018 to 2021 - collaboratin with the Impress Berlin group, as an art performer and in combination with musical concerts and cultural events. I have also participated in events and festivals including Effetto Venezia in Livorno in 2017, Il 48 Stunden Neukölln in Berlin in 2018, Oltrecolle festival in 2019, Castelfalfi; Women in six senses (The Legacy of women off), at the Central Market of Florence 2022.
2021 and 2022 - Guest artists in the Performance Area within the Lucca Comics&-Games.
I participated with some of my works in charity auctions, promoted by the Performance Area during the Lucca Comics & Games Fair (2021-2022) and recently in the auction promoted by Lucca Collecting on Catawiki (March 2023).
Awards and recognitions:
Winner of the Under 35 Award during the 68th edition of the Rotonda di Livorno 2022.
