Objective:
I am interested in expanding my work experience in order to apply the knowledge that I have acquired during my recent studies. I desire to put emphasis on developing my skills to deal with clients; I think that quickly grasping the clients’ preferences is a priority in this profession and I want to develop such skill.
Experience:
Terri Pecora Studio:
I started my internship in this studio and basically what I am doing is designing the furniture for a shop to Marco Bicego.
Teminal Terrestre Guayaquil:
I worked as an intern in the construction project of the largest and most modern bus depot in Ecuador. I carried on as-built drawings modification and amending, as well as general oversight of the building process.
New Holland Representation (Ing. J. Espinosa Z. S.A.)
I performed various office assistant duties at the main provincial agency of the coastal region in Ecuador. New Holland is one of the leading farm machinery brands in Latin America.
CENDICONSA (Building Company)
I was in charge of the amending of blueprints for different building projects.
DISARQDEC (Architecture and interior design group)
I was trained in the usage of various design software. I performed computer rendering and creative design of interiors and furniture.
Various activities
I have volunteered to teach basic maths and grammar to impoverished communities in Ecuador. In the same project I also collaborated with small fund-raising programmes to provide basic stationary for disadvantaged schools.
Through the faculty of architecture I was able to get involved in a project to redesign the houses that a charity provides to families of low income.
I have attended various architecture and design conferences featuring international attendees who presented multiple projects focusing on a wide range of topics from construction materials to sustainability and environment.

La Feltrinelli (Via Manzoni, Milano – Italy)
Project mentor: B.Arch. Guendalina di Lorenzo
Description: A bookstore designed keeping the Feltrinelli’s values like sharing knowledge, cultural environment and meeting people having a real pleasure of reading as this place has.
Co- Housing (Quartiere Feltre, Milano – Italy)
Project mentor: B.Arch. Enrico Pina
Description: A department was designed to meet the needs of a young architect, single mother of two children, who also wanted space to work at home.
Combat Sports Facilities (Duran – Ecuador)
Project mentor: M.A. Javier Ponce
Description: Sport facilities for Western and Eastern combat sports were designed with the aim of combining and achieving equilibrium between both cultures. The main volume of the building expresses the melting of both cultures while the dome reveals an apparent separation.
Puerto Santa Ana Urban Development (Guayaquil –Ecuador)
Project mentor: M.Arch. Ana Maria Leon
Description: A residence project targeted at students and small families was carried on taking into account the premise of preservation of old structures and indigenous vegetation. I worked as an intern in the construction project of the largest and most modern bus depot in Ecuador. I carried on as-built drawings modification and amending, as well as general oversight of the building process.
Skills:
I am able to manage considerable loads of work with diligence and I adjust accordingly to the challenges that come ahead.
I am willing to share my ideas and more importantly I am open to others ideas and suggestions to build up satisfactory results.
I have high proficiency in both Spanish and English and I am improving my skills in Italian; enjoying at the moment a intermediate level.
I am an advanced user of the design software Sketchup 7, I have intermediate skills in AutoCAD 2011, Artlantis 3, Photoshop 7 and I have started to develop my skills in 3dmax 2011.
Interests:
I am interested in a broad and comprehensive approach to my work as a designer; complementing my studies of architecture with interior design is a first step. I keep myself updated with the latest trends in design and building materials. I think sustainability and design go hand in hand.
I complement my cultural development by traveling around the world; I have been to important cultural centers such as New York, Barcelona, and Paris.
