Research Assistant

• Monitored and conducted the “impact assessment” for Neurosome projects in 9 EU countries, using mixed method and visualised the data using Tableau.
• Monitored the progress of PEC project by: a) apt bi-weekly data collection from field, b) examining and milestones are met within strict budget. Conducted the “Outcome mapping” of NAM project.
• Highly experienced in dealing with large data from various sensors and using in server (UPCOM) e.g. calculated assessment of air quality using real-time data from 200 devices across EU.
• Supervised training field staff; managing data entry on web-portal; data harmonizing; and data analysis using PCA; visualized data in GIS & Tableau.
• Wrote narrative mid-term, project progress and budget reports data analysis- along with HVRA program, on implementation of hazard profile of Southern Italy.
• Won 4 million Euros project for in ICARUS; IAMUS for funding under Horizon 2020. Besides, won 20,00,000 INR grants from GoI-UNDP to implement Flood and Landslide mitigation projects.

Research Assistant

• Modelled toxic gas dispersion for Benzene gas by collecting data from 20 weather stations for 10 parameters using Heavy Gas modelling framework in Prioli City (Southern Italy) and developed threshold levels of toxicity.
• Expertise in secondary data collection method for DRR and Capacity building projects from various sources.
• Conducted the Impact Assessment for HBM4EU and ICARUS projects using mixed method. Results: risk reduction policy aims 30% reduction in health hazard of under 5 years old children.
• Wrote 6 Newsletters highlighting the important aspects of projects: ICARUS, PEC as per EU guidelines.

Head District Disaster Management Department – Emergency Operation Centre

• Conducted “Impact Assessment” and “Outcome mapping” for two projects: MDRMP and URR in Thane, Sangli, Ratnagiri & Mumbai districts by using mixed method in R.
• Collected the secondary data and primary data from various sources and assessed the integrated risk for Thane and Mumbai districts using Principal Component Analysis in R and SPSS and created “Risk Profile”.
• Collected 20 FGDs and 10 KPI’s structured interview and assessed capacity building profile of Maharashtra state.
• Led 10 post disaster needs assessment focusing on Gender equality in Uttarakhand flood (2013) and Nepal Earthquake (2015).
