My name is Francesca Rho, I just graduated  in Design & Engineering. (Master’s degree, Politecnico of Milan)
I'm prepared for  this position because D&E involves a great deal of creative, independent solving problem and developing concepts, a great knowledge of 3D modeling, rendering and graphic softwares. And, of course, a lot of team working. I travel since the childhood and I can work everywhere.
I  tested my skills and capabilities during my one year long internship to CTG (Centro Tecnico di Gruppo), the research and development laboratory of Italcementi Group. At I-lab I made, in collaboration with the sound designer Painé Cuadrelli, the Cementofono, a concrete loudspeaker. In this project I was in charge of the development of the concept (3D model), the structural calculus, the contacts with the mould maker and the handcraft finishing of the product. Besides, my master’s degree research thesis: “Eating on Concrete: HPC concrete as an alternative to majolica in the industrial production of tableware†has been prepared in I-lab too.
Thanks to my Erasmus semester at DIT - Dublin Institute of Technology (Dublin, Ireland) and to several  international workshops in Europe, I have a good knowledge of technical english.
I’m a very motivated person and I can manage much work in a little time, a multitasking skill I owe to my studies and lifestyle.
