Product Design:
- Creates Product Development/Private Label lines for Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom & Neiman Marcus with the design team
- Creates new seasonal development themes & color palettes, inspiration, trend, color, yarn, stitch & fabric research for the
QUINN ready-to-wear line with the design team
- Researches fabric & yarns at Trade Shows such as Première Vision, Pitti Filati & Spin Expo
- Sketches Illustrator flats for sweaters, cardigans, tops, bottoms, dresses & cold weather accessories
- Full responsibility in designing the fall/winter cold weather accessory collection
- Prepares tech packs on Microsoft Excel with garment specs, call-outs, and technical sketches for Women’s & Men's styles,
including accessories
- Merchandises the RTW line into deliveries and styles the designs into outfits for the seasonal lookbook photoshoots
Graphic Design:
- Designs graphics for intarsias, fair isles & marketing purposes using Adobe Illustrator
- Designs custom prints to be used in the ready-to-wear collections. Hand painted & vector prints
Production:
- Creates and sends out lab dip requests, color-cards & art specs
- Creates and updates line sheets with sketches, prices, color-ways, and sizes
- Shops local stores for inspirations and for specific merchandise
Marketing & Communications:
- Communicates with QUINN's office in Shanghai on a daily basis, regarding, sample status, trim & fabric sourcing, lap dips
& fabric orders
- Traveled to Shanghai in search of potential factories, fabric/yarn research. Worked with the Shanghai team to comment on
protos, SMS & PPs
- Liaise with overseas factories and fabric mills for daily communication
- Organizes design samples to be shipped out domestically to the sales reps & internationally to the Shanghai office & factories
