L’immaginario a cui Cinzia Gentile dà vita con le sue opere, realizzate con tecniche miste (acrilico, pastelli e acquerello), trae spunto dal mondo fantasy e spazia dalle suggestioni più strettamente tolkeniane a quelle in stile cartoon e manga.
Formatasi negli studi al Liceo Artistico di Pescara e allontanatasi poi dal disegno per completare la Laurea in Architettura (Cinzia Gentile è ad oggi Architetto in attività ), l’illustratrice torna alla sua prima passione nel 2011, realizzando come visual artist una copia realistica ingrandita dell’antica mappa del paese di Roccascalegna, depositata all’Archivio di Stato di Chieti, per il videoclip “Maremma Sangue†di Luca Faggella, diretto da Alessandra Arcieri. Sono dello stesso periodo i concept grafici per eventi tematici e in maschera: Chez Clementine, Pic Nic Sotto Le Stelle, White Party e Black Swan Party.
All’illustrazione fantasy Cinzia Gentile, col nome d’arte Nimuedark o Nimue, torna a dedicarsi con la creazione dei personaggi umani, come Nyriha, o magici, come draghi, elfi, fate, maghi, stregoni, troll, zombie etc. Anche il mondo dell’illustrazione naturalistica rientra nella ricerca personale di Cinzia Gentile: le sue tavole di animali si classificano tra le opere finaliste al concorso “Illustrare la Natura†di Ardea. I lavori attualmente in progress sono: la copertina di un romanzo storico sui crociati per Albatros Edizioni, la caratterizzazione dei personaggi di un racconto fantasy inedito, le tavole di apertura del cortometraggio su Goldrake, “Ankoku Grendizer Fan Movie†di Daniele Spadoni, l’illustrazione di un libro di favole per bambini.

The imagery Cinzia Gentile creates with his works, made with mixed media (acrylic, pastels and watercolor), is inspired by the fantasy world, ranging from Tolkien suggestions to those in cartoon style and manga.
She was educated at the Art School of Pescara and then withdrawed from the art field to complete a degree in Architecture (Cinzia Gentile is now also an architect in full activity). The illustrator got back to her first passion in 2011, creating as visual artist a realistic enlarged copy of tge ancient map of the country of Roccascalegna, registered in the State Archives of Chieti, for the videoclip "Maremma Blood" by Luca Faggella, directed by Alessandra Arcieri. To the same period belong the graphic concepts for thematic and masked events: Chez Clementine, Picnic Under The Stars, White Party and Black Swan Party.
Cinzia Gentile gets back to fantasy illustration, using the name of art Nimuedark or Nimue, with the creation of the human characters, as Nyriha, or magic, such as dragons, elves, fairies, wizards, sorcerers, trolls, zombies etc.. Even the world of natural illustration takes part in Cinazia Gentile’s research staff: her panels of animals rank among the finalists in the Ardea competition "Illustrating Nature". The works currently in progress are: the cover of a historical novel about the crusaders for Albatros Editions, the characterization of an unpublished fantasy tale characters, the opening panel of Grendizer short film, "Ankoku Fan Grendizer Movie" directed by Daniel Spadoni, the illustration of a storybook for children.
