Personal Letter
Life is beautiful when you smile. I have always loved meeting new people, my home has always been open to everyone so I have had the pleasure to meet the world in my living room growing up. Meeting new cultures enriches your life. It has also helped me to learn new languages. It became natural for me to later start working with service in different ways, everything from bartending to eldercare.
I have lived in Italy on and off since I was 19 years old and during that time I have worked as an English teacher, a volunteer for Youth With A Mission, a barista, a clerk and a jazz singer. Besides my experience in Italy I have also travelled to Bangladesh three times with GÃ¥ Ut Mission visiting churches speaking at seminars, preaching and visiting orphanages and schools.
The core has always been the connection with people. I also held courses in leadership, for Bilda, in Sweden. When working for Bilda I also came in contact with and worked together with Diakonia in many projects. I wrote a blogg and updates during my missions.
I have also studied: Peace and conflict solutions, International Relations and Business English.
For 5 years I worked as a hostess, both at the airport and as a cabin manager in flight for different carriers. I was given useful leadership courses and I worked as a purser and instructor for new cabin crew members for SAS.
I have learned how to handle stress, to solve problems, how to build a team in 30 minutes, delegate and always choose safety first. My combined work experience has lead to great patience. I have also learned the importance of good service, everything from structure at an airport to the first meeting with a new group of people.
At the moment I live in Carate Urio, Italy. However, I would be able to start working for you whenever it is suitable.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
Best Regards,
Anna-Sara Hjertström
