2K Games:
Our workflow became more structured but we still worked with other studios.
Made use often of stock models and trims. It was actually fun trying to find different ways to apply given components. My most gratifying moments were when I could respond to feedback, giving my personal opinion on improving an asset of a major AAA studio. Aside that I’ve gained experience how a large MMO is structured and optimized.
Elite3D:
E3D was originally an independent studio working under contract. Since we worked with many different companies our workflow had to repeatedly adapt to match our clients. The challenge posed was actually stimulating and could get a first experience of the of the gaming industry.
My work was mainly doing scans of objects to turn them into game-ready assets. Often it was the client who provided the material and just as often we had to fix it to complete the mesh
59 Volts:
Joined the online Starry Expanse Project aimed in making an official remake in VR of Riven from Cyan Worlds. We used the screens of the original game to
reconstruct environments and assets with camera matching and photogrammetry. I became quickly well regarded for my swiftness and precision and could assist in analyzing level design Eventually Cyan took full control of the project to
release a full remake of Riven with improved level design. Our work was recognized as some of the assets we made were kept for the final product.
