Marketing Manager Italy
Italia
Annuncio:
Until now, "marketing at Pillar" meant "marketing for Italy": one team, one market, no need to distinguish local from central.
That's changing: we're standing up a central Growth/Marketing function (Paid, CRM & Lifecycle, SEO & Content).
That means Italy needs its own owner for the first time, someone who takes on everything that has made the market work so far.
What You'll Do
In practice:
- Own the Italian marketing P&L: pipeline, CAC, and customer acquisition targets for the market.
- Define and execute the strategy to reach and overperform your country targets.
- Partner with the Paid vertical to create and localize campaigns, messaging, and budget allocation for Italy.
- Partner with CRM/Lifecycle to create and adapt nurture flows, segmentation, and lifecycle communication.
- Own local product marketing: positioning, messaging, and launches for Italy.
- Represent the voice of Italy in central planning - flag what doesn't translate, propose what should be built locally.
- Work with Sales to align marketing-generated pipeline with sales capacity and feedback.
- Work with the Product and Central teams to align local marketing needs with their priorities.
- Report on market performance and translate local learnings into inputs for the central growth roadmap.
Your one goal: prove the market, build the engine, and leave behind a repeatable model for the countries that come next.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who can operate as a local owner and a central partner at the same time.
- You have experience owning marketing (or product marketing or demand generation) for a specific market/country, ideally in B2B SaaS or a sales-led business.
- You're comfortable working in a matrix structure, taking direction and frameworks from central functions while owning local execution and results.
- You think in metrics: CAC, ARR, pipeline, conversion, funnel, and you know how to tie local activity back to business outcomes.
- You have hands-on experience with at least one growth lever (paid, lifecycle/CRM, content/SEO, or product marketing) and enough fluency across the others to coordinate with specialists.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity; building a market from an early stage means the playbook isn't fully written yet.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Background in construction, real estate, or another traditional/regulated B2B industry.
- Autonomy is required. Ownership is required. A growth mindset is required.
- Experience launching or scaling a product in a new country/market.
How We Work at Pillar
At Pillar, we row in the same direction: if one of us speeds up, we all do. We're ambitious, and we raise the bar and take ownership as we go.
Pillar isn't for you if you want to be a mere executor, want clearly defined boundaries, are looking for already-perfect processes, a calm pace, or someone to tell you exactly what to do every day.
- A small, fast team where the distance between an idea and shipping it is short.
- Genuine autonomy and visibility; nobody here waits to be told what to do.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation: €30.000-€45.000, tailored to experience and expertise.
Ownership: Real ownership of a critical growth area and collaboration with leadership and hands-on involvement.
Growth: Meritocratic growth: impact = advancement.
