We're hiring a Digital Icon Artist / Illustrator to join our internal product design team and help develop clear, polished, and visually compelling experiences for our portfolio of commercial engineering software. 

You'll be part of a globally distributed UX team that brings together diverse expertise across engineering, graphic design, illustration, 3D modeling, UX, and software development. 

Our dedicated UI and UX teams partner closely with engineering throughout the product lifecycle, helping build products from early concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create polished 2D and 3D icons, glyphs, technical drawings, and other UI artwork for commercial engineering software products
• Translate technical, industrial, and engineering concepts into intuitive, visually clear icons and artwork
• Apply established visual systems and art direction to produce consistent,high-quality design assets
• Gather requirements from product teams and stakeholders to understand design needs, workflows, use cases, and constraint
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, QA testers, field teams, documentation writers, and other stakeholders across multiple internal teams
• Present design rationale clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback thoughtfully
  
  Required:
   
• Validated experience in traditional art, illustration, and 3D modeling
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craftsmanship, attention to detail, and relevant examples of iconography, illustration, sketching and 2D rendering
• Examples of problem-solving through ideation using traditional or digital sketching and renderings, as well as personal artwork that shows your unique creativity when there are no restrictions or requirements
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
• Experience with Blender or a similar 3D modeling tool
• Ability to present work clearly, gather requirements, and communicate optimally with multi-functional collaborators
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English
   

Would be helpful:

• Some background in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or another engineering-related field
• Experience working with technical or engineering-focused products

The applicable salary ranges for this position is:  41.600€ - 68.600

This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
