Junior Design Specialist

The Junior Design Specialist supports the RID team in the development of aesthetic-functional concepts and solutions for luxury car interiors, with particular attention to the leather upholstery of components and substrates. 

Collaborates in the creation of innovative proposals that respect the quality standards and guidelines of luxury brands.

Key Activities

• Support in the design and development of car interiors (seats, door panels, dashboards) with a focus on leather upholstery
• Create and update 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Rhino, Alias)
• Collaborate with the engineering and prototyping team to ensure the technical feasibility of the proposed solutions
• Participate in the definition of colors, materials, and finishes (CMF) in line with the requests of OEM customers
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations and mood boards for concept design
• Support in the management of project changes and technical documentation
• Monitor design trends and innovations in the luxury automotive sector

Education and Experience

• Degree in Industrial Design, Design Engineering, or related disciplines
• Knowledge of CAD software and 3D modeling tools
• Interest in the automotive sector and in covering materials (leather, fabrics)
• Fluent English
• Ability to work in a team and attention to detail
