Experience Designer
Main Objectives:
Support the Head of our customer, providing creative direction and developing graphic material for communication through the customer Portal, Intranet and social media channels.
Tasks
Creating compelling user experiences and interfaces for internal and external corporate products; defining the best strategy and approach for each project
Generating responsive websites by covering the design, the front-end development and the back-end development, and delivering ready-to-use templates for users. Creating scalable products that can be re-used and enhanced
Creating graphic work from scratch such as headers, illustrations, icons, infographics; delivering raster and vector-based artwork. Creating comprehensive mock-ups for websites and mobile apps when needed
Designing digital media items for internal and external products
Delivering products compatible with the most common platforms and web browsers, knowing their current potential and limitations. Archiving and managing all graphic source files for future use
Maintaining and optimizing digital imagery and the digital magazines for various platforms
Taking care of photo shooting and editing for web usage, in coordination with the customer Video and Visual Production Unit.
Liaising with the customer Branding and Corporate Identity Unit for a consistent and updated application of the customer brand.
Skills:
1-UX:
Ability to speak directly with the client and understand a project's goals and limitations.
Identifying the value proposition: what it is, who will use it, and why they will use it.
Ability to design and structure a site map with sections and navigation.
Producing quick sketches based on the site structure.
Creating user personas, user journeys and storyboarding.
Creating low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes.
Creating interactive prototypes base on wireframes.
In-house product testing and familiarity with analytics.
2-UI
Creating and managing design systems.
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Xd.
Creating scalable components by applying the principles of atomic design.
Creating mobile-first interfaces, following a consistent approach of the ESA brand.
Creating interactive high-fidelity prototypes.
3-Development
Creating web templates based on the defined and approved UX and UI.
Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
Extensive knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first design.
Knowledge of CSS pre-processors like SASS/SCSS.
Knowledge of Javascript and jQuery.
Knowledge of PHP and server-side environments.
Proficiency in custom WordPress theming in order to create themes from scratch.
Ability to customize WordPress components.
