Product Manager III
Brand Specific Description:
The Lodging landing team focuses on improving our landing experiences for travelers across our Expedia Group lodging brands. We want to give travelers confidence they’ll find what they’re looking for with Expedia and start to return relevant suggestions for their trip. We partner very closely with the SEO, SEM and Meta performance marketing teams.
Position Overview:
This role will focus on Landing conversion and SEO traffic opportunities and work to drive forward improvements for our travelers landing on Expedia through our performance marketing channels. This role requires close collaboration with various marketing and product teams to deliver a cohesive user experience.
Responsibilities:
You will collaborate to evolve existing key performance indicators and metrics to discover new opportunities and uses dashboards to monitor and assess team business performance (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness).
You will use frameworks to align stakeholders and leadership on product feature decisions.
You will identify potential trade-offs across segments taking into account a variety of factors (product design, marketing, operational considerations, etc.).
You will use user perspective to inform product segmentation and prioritization decisions with limited manager guidance.
You will partner with stakeholders and manager to develop new ideas for research, testing and feedback loops to better understand and quantify customer pain points.
You will apply feedback and data from measurements towards product improvements through test and learns and other testing methodologies to positively impact the business (i.e., cost savings, revenue, conversion, etc.).
You will communicate a compelling rationale and narrative to peers and partners.
You will tailor communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate.
You will lead discovery across cross-functional stakeholders to develop understanding of a shared problem, make suggestions for solutions and recommend which solutions will achieve the most ideal customer or business outcome.
Competencies/ Experience and Qualification:
Has strong product management experience
Has good understanding of core Product Management skills e.g., Agile Practices, communication, data science principles, listening, scientific method, reverse engineering, business acumen, influence and risk taking.
Has a solid understanding of decision-making frameworks and can develop advanced frameworks to test hypotheses.
Experienced in owning product areas and related product development lifecycle.
Has a good understanding of the performance marketing ecosystem and the capabilities and needs of the different SEO, SEM and Meta marketing channels.
