THE ROLE
NGGH++ is looking for a Head of Planning and Ops that will lead and direct the Planning Team and sets guardrails with key members of finance, buying, analytics and marketing to deliver profitable growth. Participates in the development and execution of Merchandise plans, including sales, planning, forecasting, product buys, sell thru and promotion planning.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Manage entire merchandise planning process, including set up of all relevant budgeting and financial templates, pulling historical data, analysing performance, developing plans, and adjusting plans as necessary
Partner with Director of Buying to establish ideal assortment levels
Propose and present buy budgets to CEO, CFO and Wholesale Directors, ensuring plans are aligned with sales goals, financial objectives, and business strategies
Work closely with Buyers during market to understand seasonal offering and buying direction, track actual purchases, and revise budgets as necessary
Review in-season sales, inventory, sell-through and margin, and develop strategies to drive performance
Partner with Director of Merchandising to update and maintain Carryover list
Manage a team of 8
