We are currently seeking a WW eCommerce manager who will report to the Strategy and New Business Development Director as part of our dynamic team in Rome.
Brioni believes in innovation and technology to help bring the art of tailoring to its customers. In this spirit, your mission is to set-up the brand-new in-house eCommerce platform, capable to fit our size in an evolving world, which will host a wealth of omni-channel services. This is a challenging position in which you will successfully team up with colleagues from across the company to deliver excellence against tight deadlines, optimizing the use of modern scalable applications to help develop the online business. Once the new internalized platform is live, you will find ways to continue to develop the eCommerce offering, continuously striving for exciting enhancements. You will be managing the eCommerce specialist already on board since a few years. You will collaborate closely with the Brioni digital innovation specialist, as well as with supply chain and marketing functions.
How you will contribute
Lead the eCommerce internalization project & manage the transition from the current external partner.
Coordinate the efforts, in a financial, qualitative and timely manner, between the various contributing internal and external parties: Ensure efficient and effective delivery of services in areas such as content, marketing, IT, fulfillment and logistics, customer service, payment processing and BI.
Report on achievements and issues and find ways to drive for progress.
Liaise with Kering digital and Kering Technologies on eCommerce practices as well as system architecture and integration. Leverage on existing knowledge and technology.
Manage the daily eCommerce operations.
Report and follow-up on eCommerce KPIs, weekly sales analysis, leverage Kering BI
Bring qualified traffic to the site. Develop the overall digital marketing strategy in collaboration with the marketing department. Manage supporting agencies for translations and product descriptions. Analyse web marketing and make suggestions for improvements.
Maximize sales conversion. Optimize the best online assortment and allocation, in collaboration with merchandising.
Ensure compliance with eCommerce evolving legislation and web accessibility management
Strive for continuous improvement
Lead all further website developments, UX enhancements, change requests, bug fixing and optimizations.
Find pro-active ways to improve the eCommerce business goals and to optimize the supporting processes. Help evaluate market opportunities to drive substantial growth. Analyze and recommend on trends in the eCommerce market.
Act as a knowledge hub for Brioni's eCommerce. Share best practices with sister brands.
Who you are
Degree in business/economics, management, engineering or other related fields
Min 7 years’ experience in eCommerce, preferably in luxury.
Strong IT and business acumen related to eCommerce
Ability to articulate and present to all levels in the organisation
Strong organisation and project management skills, capacity to simplify jargon and complex architecture
Excellent at partnering up with people of various cultures and personal styles in international environment
Enthusiastic with high levels of energy, self–motivation and resilience
Hands-on, initiative-taking person, capable to drive for solutions in a resourceful way
Fluent in English. Italian is considered as a plus.
Experience in JAMstack technology would be a significant advantage.
